Year 4 have picked the last of the tomatoes and cucumbers from the polytunnels. They made pickled cucumber and chilli sauce to see us through the winter. Thank you Year 4! #keepgreen #keephealthy

Year 1 gathered a range of different materials to complete their bug hotel in the Oasis this week. They have made a home for mini beasts over the winter, where they can have some shelter, food and can be protected from the weather. Thank you Year 1. #keepkind #keepgreen

On a moody Monday morning Year 3 had a cycling lesson with Coach Terry. Year 3 have considered the importance of cycling to school and organised a biker’s breakfast this half term. They were rewarded with a cycling lesson reminding them just how fun it is to get on your bike and peddle! #keepgreen #keephealthy

Year 6 worked through the 100 climate actions from @ling.tan.ql low carbon banquet. They chose some that we are going to to work on as a school and presented a very persuasive argument to our art teacher, food educator and headteacher about how we as a school can take more actions to tackle climate change. Weaving in the Oasis with Year 2. Year 2 have been weaving in art, as part of their topic ‘Clothes.’ They took this outside this week, exploring the technique of weaving with different materials.
